Overview

This project analyzed the feasibility, student demand, and operational considerations for establishing a full grocery store on the Florida Tech campus. The report combined survey data, stakeholder interviews, and campus-facility research to evaluate how expanded grocery access could improve student well-being, reduce food insecurity, and enhance residential life. The final deliverable included a data-driven needs assessment, comparison to peer institutions, recommendations for store layout and product offerings, and an implementation roadmap for university leadership. Final recommendations included a vendor-partnership model, acceptance of meal plans, and phased implementation strategies to support long-term university growth and retention.
